The offer defines the scope
Each offer should identify the product, specification, quantity, tolerance, delivery basis, shipment window, payment conditions and document requirements. Nexus brings these elements together rather than treating price as the only commercial variable.
The website is an introduction to our business. It is not a standing offer, a price list or a guarantee of immediate stock. A request is reviewed before availability and the commercial conditions are confirmed in writing.
FOB, CFR and CIF: define the named port
Under FOB, the seller delivers the goods on board the buyer-nominated vessel at the named port of shipment. Under CFR, the seller also contracts and pays the freight to the named destination port. CIF adds the seller’s obligation to arrange the insurance required by that rule.
For all three, the transfer of risk is associated with delivery on board at the shipment port, not arrival at destination. Freight payment and risk transfer must not be confused. The agreed Incoterms® version, named port and any additional terms should be recorded in the contract.
Commercial development without introduction brokerage
Our business development activity supports the creation of supply opportunities in the markets we target. It can involve understanding a buyer’s demand, discussing a producer’s available range, comparing origin options and preparing a route to a direct transaction.
This is complementary to our trading role. Nexus does not position its website as a broker directory or publish unverified exclusive representations. Any advisory scope, commercial mandate or specific responsibility must be agreed separately in writing.
